Global Leadership: Coaching Programs

Ensuring Success on the International Assessment

When organizations send leaders on international assignments, they often forget that they are sending “human” beings. These human beings universally experience stress when they arrive to live and work in a culture that is unfamiliar to them even if they are not aware of it. Organizations want their people to hit the ground running and don't allow for the time it takes to move through relocation stress and culture shock.

Even for those who have had training related to the transition and to the specific culture find it hard to remember what they learned when they are actually in the situation.
